Leonard Parker Obituary

Leonard Parker, age 70 of Mondamin passed away January 9, 2022. . Leonard was born May 3, 1951 in Logan, Iowa. Leonard worked for twenty eight years at Farm Service from 1991 to 2019, he worked on farms from 1971 to 1991 and from 2019 until 2021. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, camping, spending time with his family. Leonard liked to joke around.

Survivors include his wife Janice Parker of Mondamin, Iowa, children Mike Matusik and wife Kelly, Michelle Grub and husband Art, Marvin Jones and wife Jamie, Ann Jones-Collier and friend James, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sisters Sharon Bedsall, Bonnie Cossil of Mondamin and brother Lyle Parker and wife Deb of Carter Lake.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday January 13, 2022 at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with burial following at Noyes Cemetery in Mondamin, Iowa.
