The passing of Duane Alan Sloan of Monroe, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 69. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Sloan (Scott) and Charles W Sloan Jr.; and his siblings, Charles Dean, Dennis and Donna Rempp.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Stripe; his children, Jennifer Hjortshoj (Grant) and Jared Sloan (Jenny); his sisters, Doris Altemeier (Gary) and Debbie Sloan; and his grandchildren, Riley, Mason Hjortshoj, Cooper, Kinser and Chloe Sloan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 113 S Monroe St, Monroe, IA 50170.
