He is survived by: his wife Ina Fay DeHeer; his children, Steve Simpson of Pleasantville, Terrie Simpson of Honolulu, Sherrie Mouw (Tom) of Monroe, Kenny Simpson (Danyale) of Ottumwa, Anita Simpson (Martin Eveleth) of Prairie City and Lorri Hazelton (Brian) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Brian Simpson, Stacie Wagaman (Brad), Greg Mouw, Heidi Liventals (Chad), Joe Simpson, Jordan Simpson, Riley Eveleth, Reid Taylor (Jeremy), Shannon Hazelton, Brandon Hazelton (Jessica) and Rand Hazelton (Felicia).
