It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elaine Reeves of Monroe, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Wyk and Irma Nelle Van Wyk (Honnold); her grandson Zeke Reeves; her siblings, Phyllis Frazier and Ralph; and her sister-in-law Joan Van Wyk.

She is survived by: her husband Bernie Reeves; her children, Chris Reeves (Nicole) and Kelley McGowan (John); her grandchildren, Sam Reeves (Sarah), Emma Minard (Michael), Caleb Reeves, Jonah Reeves (Ashley), Elise Reeves (Hope), Jamin Reeves, Gabe Reeves and Mercy Reeves; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Jaxson, Natalie, Josephine and Quentin; her sister Bonnie Sloan (Frank); and her brother-in-law Clarence Frazier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Monroe Fire and Rescue or the Monroe Public Library.
