Frank Brownell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Brownell of Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Bob; his wife Nancy Denton; his mother Lois; and his sister Diana. He is survived by: his sons, Bob (Braedi), Pete (Helen) and Matt (Jodi); his grandchildren, Alex, Mairead, Aidan, Ruari, Jake and Kyle; and his sister Lynne (Andy Boysen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brownells Foundation or DMMO (Des Moines Metro Opera).
