He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Christian Hansen and Bodil Marie Anderson Hansen; his grandson Eric Hansen; his siblings, Knute Hansen (Mary), Lawrence Hansen (Beulah), Alfred Hansen (Marilyn), Howard Hansen (Bonnie), Betty June Hansen, Elizabeth Baird (Charles), Irene Feguson (Jack) and Gladys McAtee (Kenneth); and his sister-in-law Jane Hansen.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Wickenkamp; his wife Jan Hansen of Montezuma; his children, Jeff Hansen (Leslee) of Oskaloosa, Judd Hansen (Michele) of South Dakota and Julie Anderson (David) of Malcom; his grandchildren, Jana Wolfe (Tyler), Ashley Verdeck (Joe), Kaylin Guajardo (Mike), Karah Cain (Kenneth), Ainsley Hansen (Austin) and Hailey Anderson (Mateo Oyarzun); and his brother Bernie Hansen. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Jan Hansen, to be distributed to the Monte Fire Department and the Blakley-Stevens America Legion Post 169.
