He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos Gregson and Evelyn Gregson (Rauch); his brother Sheldon Gregson; his siblings-in-law, Mary Rose, Martha Hicks, Joyce Rose, Donna Gregson, Gary Hicks and Keith Snook; his nephew Billy Hicks; and his niece Denise Hamer.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Gregson of Montezuma; his children, Roger Gregson Jr. (Tera) of Montezuma and Peggy Gregson of Montezuma; his grandchildren, Austin Gregson, Bryant Gregson and Dominique Ward; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Gray, Devin Gray and Brianna Lewis; his stepgreat-granddaughter Adrian Lewis; his siblings, Robert Gregson (Joyce), Patricia Snook (Marvin Evans) and Janet Graves (David); and his brother-in-law Harley (Nancy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Morrison-Schrader American Legion Post #296 in Deep River.
