He was predeceased by: his nephew Christopher Soper; and his parents, Lyle Tobiason and Marcella Moenk Tobiason. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Eiben (Wayne), Sharon Hanken (Steve), Sharlene Soper (Jeff) and Gary Tobiason; his niece Chloe Heginger (Kyle); his nephews, Sean Soper (Cabrina) and Cody Soper (Shaley); his great-nephew Rex Soper; and his great-niece Kendyl Heginger.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the S. S. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church (21069 Prairie Hill Rd, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
