He was predeceased by : his parents, Mark Beckman and Luella Beckman (Rauen); his sister Janet Peterson; his siblings-in-law, Loretta Beckman and Chris Sasina; his niece Laura Beckman; his nephew Jason Beckman; his great-niece Jessica Timp; and his close friend Marcine Brooks.
He is survived by : his children, Kenneth Beckman of Arizona, Jane Beckman-Hutchens of Eden Prairie, MN and Stacey Achenbach of Monticello; his grandchildren, Matthew Beckman (Terri), Amber O'Brien, Nicholas Hauan (Cara), Patrick Beckman (Shannon), Hannah Hauan (Taylor), Carleigh Achenbach and Haley Moore; his great grandchildren, Lily, Cael, Johnny, Autumn, Leighah, Nathan, Jacob, Jaelynn and Jenna; his siblings, Marc Beckman (Diane) of St. Claire, MO, Patrick Beckman, Tom Beckman (Janet) and Marcia Monk (John); his brother-in-law Wes Peterson of Sprig Valley, MN; and his friends, Kevin and Sherry Wenger of Monticello. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
Bill was a kind and generous man whose gift of giving will live on through his decision to donate his body to science.
