We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2022, at the age of 90, Eileen Margaret Thompson of Monticello, Iowa, born in Luxemburg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Clement Friedman and Theresa Friedman (Hoffman); her husband Robert Thompson; her children, Larry Thompson (Belinda) of Turtle Point, Susan Steuhm (Kevin) of Idaho Falls, Charles Thompson (Stephanie) of Kiowa and Douglas Thompson (Peg Alatalo) of Central City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Dallas of Turtle Point, Katie (Gabriele) of Migliana, Libbie (Brett) of Grapevine, Abbie of Iowa City, Sheela (Aaron) of Aurora, Jake of Denver, Josh of Kiowa, Rachel (Ron) of Dubuque and Jenny (Kyle) of Dubuque, Iowa; her sister Madonna Friedman; her brothers-in-law, Merlin Goedken of Oelwein and Jerry Thompson (Elaine) of Decorah, Iowa.; and also, Cletus Friedman, Cyril Friedman, Lucille Goedken, Lavonne Breckenfelder, Robert Friedman, James Friedman and Mary Rasmussen. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Eileen's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Church or Above and Beyond Hospice in Monticello.
