She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oltmann and Elsie Oltmann (Ommen); her husband Mark Leonard of Patrick's Church; her son Michael Leonard; her siblings, Marvin, Raymond, Eugene Oltmann and Audrey Reiter; and her nephew Shawn Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Leonard-Leibold of Monticello and Janine Bossard (Bob) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Shawna Beitz (Dan), Hans Leonard (Danielle), Heidi Benson (Cody), Dustin Lumpa (Samantha), Jasmine Norman (Andy), Isaac Leonard (Tara), Joshua Leibold, Jordan Leonard (Jane), Hailee Bossard and Riley Bossard; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler Beitz, Cody, Aymslee Norman, Mila, Asher Lumpa, Noah and Emersyn Leonard; her sister Eleanor Muller; and her brother-in-law Robert Leonard (Lois). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, her Colorado family, extended family members, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (210 E 3rd St, Monticello, IA 52310). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In memory of Irma, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Above & Beyond Hospice Care in Monticello, in lieu of flowers.
