Janis Lucille Meier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis Lucille Meier in Monticello, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gottleaber and Bernice Gottleaber (Penshorn); her husband Raymond Meier; her siblings, Harold Gottleaber and Janaan; and her brother-in-law Delbert Husmann.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt (Sheri) of DeWitt, Karmen (Ev) of Port Townsend, WA and Marvin of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Cody Bunting (Mathew), Maxwell (Emily), Samuel Meier, Olivia Fisher (Tyler), Madison Parker (Carson), Kendal Sauder (Stephan), Kenneth Waechter (Kate), Jessica Hutchison and Guthrie Waechter (Ashley). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
