We bid farewell to John Welter (Monticello, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2025 at the age of 90. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Welter and Rose Kramer Welter; and his brothers, Eldon and Lloyd Welter. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Muller Welter; his daughter Cindy Bagge (Tom); his grandchildren, Kathy Krusie (Steve), Amy Smith (Riley), Danielle Napravnik (Eric), Megan Winfrey (Bill) and Jason Krusie (Abby); and his great grandchildren, Sloane Smith, Emma, Ava Napravnik, James and Jack Winfrey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (210 E 3rd St, Monticello, IA 52310). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
