It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jon Ward Knight (Monticello, Iowa), born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Ward; his wife Dana Hurt Knight; and his brother-in-law Tom Altfillisch. He is survived by : his close friend Dawn Eitel; his sons, Brenton Knight (Kathie) and Aaron Knight (Kim); his grandchildren, Emma and Jeffrey Knight; his siblings, Sheryl Altfillisch and Kevin Knight (Rita); his grandchildren, Keelie, Jaylen, Carter, Lainie, Nessa and Wyatt; and also, Josh Eitel (Aimee) and Andy Eitel (Kim).

Memorials may be made to the Springville Fire Department.
