She was predeceased by : her father Emil; her husband Richard Cigrand; her son Jeffrey; her granddaughter Casey Emmert; her sisters, Donna Summers and Janice Breiholtz; and her aunt Minnie Harms.

She is survived by : her children, Tracy Cigrand (Jill) of Monticello, Angela (Ryan), Brian Cigrand (Wendi) of Mt. Vernon and Mark Cigrand (Dawnette) of Cochrane, Wis.; her grandchildren, Nick Cigrand (Trinity), Genevieve Cigrand, Shelby Emmert, Lauren Emmert, Cat Cevan (Chloe), Shelby Cigrand, Allison Cigrand, Logan Cigrand (Stephanie Gail), Jordyn Schlotterbeck (Seth), Dillon Jamison (Marlon Gonzalez) and Cody Jamison; and her sister Marilyn Carter (Andy) of Marion. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (700 E Oak St, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
