We bid farewell to Mark Leonard of Monticello, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Leonard and Elizabeth Leonard (Donavon); his brother John; his son Michael Leonard; and his nephew Shawn Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Leonard of Patrick's Church; his daughters, Diane Leonard-Leibold of Monticello and Janine Bossard (Bob) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Shawna Beitz (Dan), Hans Leonard (Danielle), Heidi Benson (Cody), Dustin Lumpa (Samantha), Jasmine Norman (Andy), Isaac Leonard (Tara), Joshua Leibold, Jordan Leonard (Jane), Hailee Bossard and Riley Bossard; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler Beitz, Cody, Aymslee Norman, Mila, Asher Lumpa, Noah and Emersyn Leonard; and his brother Robert Leonard (Lois). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, his Colorado family, extended family members, and countless friends.
