He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilke Behrends and Dora Behrends (Schatz); his wife Donna Mae White; his sister Leona Holub; his grandson Corey Weitnauer; his son-in-law Doug Weitnauer; and his close friend Betty Lou McVay.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Sunday (Wayne), Kevin Behrends (Jane Caraway) and Beverly (Doug); and his grandchildren, Trevor, Cameron (Lyse) and Jessica Weitnauer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wayne Zion Lutheran Church (15531 Co Rd E17, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
