Phyllis R. Appleby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis R. Appleby of Monticello, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis R. Appleby to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Phyllis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phyllis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Lasche and Cleo Lasche (McNally). She is survived by: her husband Don Appleby; her children, Kymm Appleby, Luann Brown (Pat), Terri Pizinger (Terry) and Tom Appleby (Sue); her daughter-in-law Theresa Appleby; and her son Dan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monticello EMTs or Monticello Police Department, both at 201 E South Street, Monticello, Iowa 52310.
