It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Henry Rieniets of Monticello, Iowa, born in Richland, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Leona Bender, Kathleen Streeper, Betty Hinrichs, Paul Rieniets and Mildred Hinrichs; his brother-in-law Harlan Helgens; and his father Gerhard.
He is survived by : his wife Lorna; his children, Sherry Behrends (Jerry) and Karey Rieniets; his grandchildren, Brandee Gehl (Pete), Breanna Welter (Jay) and Jesse Behrends (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Elie, Tanner, John, Ben and Stella; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Courtney, Kirby, Kyran and Beaudan.
