With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma M Jensen of Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilke Husmann and Elma Husmann (Blanche); her former life partner James Conley; her husband Clarence Shady; her siblings, Ernest, Alva Husmann, Lois Mott and Lucille Lund; her children, Sharon Specht (Clem), Jane Bliss, Marvel Heim, James Conley and Robert Shady; and her great grandchild J. T. Yarolem.
She is survived by : her daughters, Judy Potter (Wayne) of Maquoketa and Janice Houston of Maquoketa; her siblings, Velda Hollman, Helen Christiansen, Betty Ham and Edward Husmann (Sheryl); and her children-in-law, David Heim of Cascade and Deb Shady of Lawton, OK.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, thirty great-great grandchildren.
