It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Welsh of Montrose, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph H. Fichtenkort and Eva Katherine Leeper Fichtenkort; her husband Charles Welsh; and her brothers, Joseph Fichtenkort, John Beaird, Don Beaird, Wayne Beaird and Floyd "Tiny" Beaird.

She is survived by : her sons, Jeffry Arntzen of Keokuk and Scott Arntzen (Lauren) of California; her grandchildren, Jacob Arntzen (Evelyn), Emma Arntzen, Clara Arntzen and Alex Arntzen; and her great grandchild Finneas Arntzen.
