With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne D. Johnson of Moorhead, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeanne D. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Reed and Leone Reed (DeLashmutt); her husband Carroll Johnson; her parents-in-law, Andrew "AJ" and Lena Johnson (Sorenson); her sisters, Katherine Carlson Willey and Donna Ball; and her grandson Jacob Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hall (Kevin) of Decatur, Scott Johnson (Debra) of Moorhead, Kevin Johnson (Rhonda) of Moorhead, Bryan Johnson (Sally) of Waterloo and Gregg Johnson (Carla) of Waterloo, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Cory, Jeremy, Chris, Melissa, Amber, Andria, Jessica, Megan, Candice, Tyler, Amanda, Patrick, Peyton, Jordan and Ashton; her sisters, Colleen Malmberg and Shirley Hatlelid (Howard); and her brother-in-law Everett Carlton Ball. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethesda Lutheran Church (703 Pine St, Moorhead, IA 51558). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
