He is survived by: his children, Pat (Kari) of Waverly, Bob (Andrea) of Fort Dodge, Tom (Jody) of Barnum, Mary Catherine "Dee" Cech (Corey) of Pleasant Hill and Anne Condon (Dan) of Barnum; and his siblings, Leo, Mark, David Walsh and Sheila Sturdevant. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
