She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Harold and Edyth Marie Howard (Swarts); her husband Vernon Dale Mathews; her brother Jack Howard; her brothers-in-law, Don Davis and Doyle Moore; and her sibling's children, Barbara Stephanie, Todd Harrington and Marvin John Howard.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Taylor (Johnny) of Bradyville, Tennessee; her granddaughter Rachel Taylor of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her siblings, Joan Davis of Centerville, Jean Moore of Coatsville, Ramona Harrington (Larry) of Boone, Iowa and Glen Howard (Carol) of Moulton, Iowa; her sister-in-law Lois Howard of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and her close friends, Kim Beeler (John) and Heather Western (Kevin). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norman Funeral Home (402 W Washington St, Lancaster, MO 63548). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
