She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Joseph and Alberta Castro (Grannados); her husband Jerry Edward Townsend (Navy); her daughter Tamara Townsend (Tammy); and her in-laws, Orie and Evelyn Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Adrianne (Addie), Randell Townsend (Sue) of Braddyville, IA and Trudy Townsend of Troy, OH; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Mahaffey, Jerrod Mahaffey, Amanda Angus, Ryan Bohanan, Raymond Townsend and Drew Fry. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
