She is survived by : her children, Reta Hatfield (Chris) of Urbandale, IA, Larry Comer (Marcia) of Osceola, IA, Rhonda Whitney (Brian) of Cameron, MO, Lori Wiele of Indianola, IA, Terry Comer (Lory) of Osceola, IA and Linda Young (Jim) of Clarinda, IA.; and her siblings, Donna Carson (Joe) of Springfield, MO, Sue Fry (Lowell) of Granada, MS and Richard Kaster of Creston, IA..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials are to the American Diabetes Association and Taylor Hospice House.
