He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Almeda M Estes, Richard D Estes, David Estes and Joyce Estes (Andrews). He is survived by : his parents, David Allen of Creston, IA and Deborah Jean Estes of St. Joesph, MO; his wife Megan Lynn Rapson; his children, Chloe, Aden, Gage and Cyrus; his siblings, Kendra M. Estes of St Joseph, MO and Eric D. Estes of Platte City, MO; his in-laws, David S. Rapson and Lisa Rapson of St Joseph, MO; his brother-in-law David Scott Rapson; his grandparents-in-law, Doug and Sherry Rapson; and his grandmother Rita Carr of Florida. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
