She is survived by: her husband Rodney Lee Faris; her sons, Michael James, Richard Joel (Neva) and Justin Ray; her grandchildren, Sawyer, Wilson, Hollen, Lindsay and Nicholas; her siblings, Ellen Marchant of Linden, Eva Burget of Hampstead, Eileen, Clarence Vaughan of Earlham and Jared James (Jennifer) of Corning, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Jackie Stewart (Russ) of Mount Ayr and Jennifer Byrd (Shawn) of Mount Ayr, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (201 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854).
