Georgia Brand Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Georgia Brand of Mount Ayr, Iowa, whose life came to an end on July 19, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McHenry and Rubye McHenry (Colvin); her husband Paul Gerald Brand; her grandson Joseph Muhlbauer; her parents-in-law, Lewis and Madge Brand; her sisters, Naomi McHenry, Ruth Trullinger and Bonnie Young; her in-laws, Clyde Trullinger, Don Harvey, Earl Brand, Dean Brand, Rosie Brand, Shirley Brand, Lois, Ainslee Triggs, Jean, Lyle Gilliland, Bob Schafer and Walt Cobb; and her nephew Brent Priest.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Muhlbauer (Paul) and LuAnn Brand; her grandchildren, Tom, Gabi Muhlbauer, Eric, Amanda Muhlbauer, Rachael, Aaron Boisvert and Jeff Muhlbauer; her great grandchildren, Alison, Brandon and Thomas Muhlbauer; her sister Joan Harvey; and her in-laws, Wilma Schafer, Betty Cobb and Lee Brand. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Baptist Presbyterian Church (2343 US-169, Mt Ayr, IA 50854).
Memorials are to the Ringgold County Group Home.
