With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack South (Mount Ayr, Iowa), who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnell South and Doris South (Jarvis); and his brothers, Robert "Bob" and Jerry South. He is survived by: his wife Sandra South; his children, Amy Shields (Pete), Jeff South (Karla) and Corey VanDyke (Scott); his grandchildren, Brandie Ruggles (Bret), Brett Shields (Melissa), Brennon Shields, Josh South (Leah), Josiah South (Alicia), Jesse South (Mackenzie), Jebidiah South, Destiny Campos, Shaleigh DeJong (Zach), Zachary VanDyke and Nathan VanDyke; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson, Evan Ruggles, Cash Shields, Aubree, Brynlea Shields, Brayden Hale, Mercy, Lily, Hudson South, Beniah, Azariah South, Emalyn, Eliza South and Ava DeJong; and his brother Larry South (Sherri).
