He is survived by: his father Gary Mercer (Fran) of Eagleville, Missouri; his wife Samantha Knosp of Grand Junction, Iowa; his stepdaughter Lacey Clapp (David) of Jefferson, Iowa; his grandson Destin Clapp of Jefferson, Iowa; his sisters, Miranda Sleep (Scott) of Prescott and Sarah Kernen (Justin) of Bedford, Iowa; his nieces, Sierra Haley (Matt), Dakota Sleep (Shannon) and McKenna Harmon (Cooper); his nephew Quenten Oldenkamp (April); and his close friend Darrin of Boone, Iowa. He is also survived by other relative and friends.
