We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2024, at the age of 85, Jerry L. Cooper (Mount Ayr, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Cooper and Agnes Cooper; his in-laws, Joe and Vera Lindsey; his siblings, Imogene McMahon (Jim), Beverly Michael (H. B.) and Harold Cooper (Phyllis); and his grandson Triston Ackley.

He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, Julie Ackley (Jason) of Tingley, IA and Jeff Cooper (Julie) of Grand Junction, IA; his grandchild Hanna Ackley of Des Moines, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Mae Davis (Burt) of Jefferson, IA and Allison Hamilton (Johnny) of Jefferson, IA; and his sister Sherry O'Brien (Tom) of Mount Ayr, IA. He is also survived by 5 step-greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
