He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J Ford and Ann Smith Ford; his mother-in-law Orley (Gladys Cheers); and his grandson Jacob Hauer. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Cheers; his children, Laura Ann (Dave Kauzlarich) of Winterset, Mary Lou (Buster Webb) of Defiance and John Andrew (Amy) of Mount Ayr; and his grandchildren, Christopher Lilienthal (Megan), Zak, Mitchell Lilienthal (Alex), Holden, Lewis, Amanda Hauer, Daniel Hauer, Andrew Ford (Niki Siders), Riley, Apollo, Huxley and Christopher Ford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be accepted for the Tingley Community Building and Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.
