It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Sackett (Mount Ayr, Iowa), who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Sackett and Ramona Sackett (Smith); his children, Randy Joe and Laurie Suzanne; his wife Louise Ann Burchett; and his sister Janet Kane.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Connie Eason; his daughter-in-law Jill Sackett of Winterset, IA; his siblings, Jim Sackett (Linda) of Mukwonago, Wisconsin and Joyce Jackson of Rising Sun, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Viva Dean Buell of Des Moines, Bill "Butch" Burchett (Renee) of Ankeny and Duane Burchett (Margie) of Lamoni. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
