We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 78, Phyllis Cregeen (Mount Ayr, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Smith and Vesta Smith; her siblings, Betty Jean Schnackenberg (Myran), Roxie Fletcher (Charlie), Cecil Edward Smith, Richard Smith (Terry), John Smith (Robin), Lee and Dee Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Bud Ayres and Bob Strange.

She is survived by : her husband Dale Cregeen; her son Douglas Cregeen (Debra); her grandsons, Mario McGuire (Stacy) and Jared McGuire (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Haylee, Kyla, Keira, Harper and Finnley; her siblings, Irene Ayres, Barb Strange and Gary Smith (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Smith.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the United Church of Diagonal (400 Adams St, Diagonal, IA 50845).
