He was predeceased by: his parents, Ames R. Cross and Elberta R. Cross (McKinstry); and his brother Mac Cross. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey (Tina Rinaldi); his grandchildren, Ames (Mallory), Ashton, Amelia Vogl (Matt) and Abigail; his children, Scott (Kris), Paulina of Lee's Summit, MO and Jennifer DeCarlo (Dave); his grandchildren, Colby DeCarlo (Sonya), Ronni Mason (Jevon) and Brock; his great grandchildren, Bennet, Braxson, Bodee (Cross), Callahan, Cohen, Cai (Vogl) and Nora (DeCarlo); the mother of his children Janice Cross (Skinner); his brother Al Cross of Urbandale; and his sister-in-law Pam Cross of Mount Ayr. He is also survived by four nieces.
