She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Moore and Opal Irene Robison (Vanderpool); her husband Bill; her son Billie; her grandson Mark Comer; and her sisters, Ruby Newton and Loretta Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Johnston (Randy) and Roy Fifer (Tammy); her grandchildren, Billie Hood, Kristy Hood, Mariah Fifer (Cody Edwards), Kim Monroe (Jim), Ciera Wood (Bryce) and Chace Willets; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Joel Monroe, Harlee Comer, Jeff Brown, Sophia Fifer and Madelyn Rigney; and her brother-in-law Paul Fifer. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
