He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Sickels and Helen Sickels. He is survived by: his pets, Cocoa, Murphy and JJ; his sister Jane Sickels-Minnick; his nephew Josh Minnick; and his great-niece Audra Spainhower. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations to be made in Stephen's name.
