Tom Kelly, born on April 12, 1948 in Creston, Iowa, passed away on September 14, 2026. Tom leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Tom leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Tom’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Tom will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kelly and Nellie Kelly (Price); his sister Cynthia Wolf; and his children, Truda DeBord and Coleman Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Kelly of Redding, Iowa. He is also survived by several grandchildren, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
