She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Carnahan and Madeline Carnahan (Pemberton); her husband Donald Brown; her son Donald; and her siblings, Rita Feek, Mary, Leo, Roger, Charles, Timothy and Patrick Carnahan.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Franklin (Greg) of Las Vegas, NV, Jeanette Dillon (Scott) of Winfield, Karen Hunter of Mount Pleasant, Theresa Warren of Lagrande, OR, MaryJo Crawford of Keosauqua, Robert Brown of Hubert, NC, Richard Brown (Melissa) of Mount Pleasant, Daniel Brown (Melinda) of Keosauqua, Charles Brown (Jody) of Wayland, Denise Dietrick (Jeff) of Mount Pleasant and Joe Brown (Leea) of Mount Pleasant; and her siblings, Mike Carnahan, David Carnahan, Steve Carnahan, Dennis Carnahan and Madeline Wilson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
