She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bert and Jessie Marion Rusher Hudson; her husband Walter R. Birch; her sons, John and Steven Dean; and her siblings, Glenna Ruth James, Thurman and Emory.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy, David Birch (J. Anna) of New London and Katherine Taylor Birch of Burlington. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Arbor Court activity fund where they took excellent care of Belva.
