With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Billie Jean Hyatt of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Johnson and Bonnie D. Johnson (McIntosh); her daughter Tammy Newlon; her grandson Lantz Eversmeyer; and her brother James Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Eversmeyer of Ewing, MO; her grandchildren, Michael Bartels (Kyndal) of Gilbert, IA, Cody Bartels (Jordan) of Jacksonville, FL, Tammy Bartels (Aaron Land) of Ewing, MO and Bella Eversmeyer of Ewing, MO; her great grandchildren, Jaxtynn Land, Winston Land, Preston McDonald, Laylah Land and Nora Rae Bartels; her sister Sharon Trone of Keokuk; her sister-in-law Carol Middaugh; and her sibling's children, Danny Trone (Patricia), Carmen Jones (Scott Severin), Jason Trone (Melissa), Roberta McCoy, Jimmy Johnson (Nici) and Carl Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vigen Memorial (1328 Concert St, Keokuk, IA 52632). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Oakland Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.
