He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Nellie Conner, Sr. (Riley); his wife Josephine Graber; his sister Jenny Septer; and his half-siblings, Avis Smithburg, Dixie Tennison, Mildred Ingalls, Raymond Conner, Forrest Conner, Lum Conner and Freddie Conner.

He is survived by: his sons, Marion Conner (Darlene) of Mt. Pleasant and Wendell Conner (Deborah) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Jason Conner (Claire), Bradley Conner, Cassandra "Cassie" Conner and Carissa Eads (Ryan); and his sister Evelyn Erickson of Libertyville.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Mt. Pleasant Pilgrim Nazarene Church and Green Mound Cemetery.
