He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Evelyn Smith (Wohlgemuth); and his brother Barry Gotsch. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Anderson; his daughters, Kristi Kenealy (Kevin) of Nevada and Amanda McCreedy (Jesse) of Hills; his grandchildren, Korin, Keaton, Kael Kenealy and Ronan McCreedy; his siblings, Sherry Swan (Rodney) of Stover, Deb Staton of Kansas City and Clifford Smith (Marilyn) of Carrollton; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Gotsch of Tulsa, Bob Anderson (Connie) of Prairie Village, Ron Anderson (Nancy) of Fayette, Greg Anderson (Denise) of Carrollton and Mark Anderson (Barb) of Camdenton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Mount Pleasant Girls Softball League and Mount Pleasant Music Boosters.
