Cheryl Jean Giberson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Giberson of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2021 at the age of 73.
Cheryl Jean Giberson was born on June 1, 1947 in Fairfield, IA to her parents, Henry Harley Stark and Vera Eileen Stark. Cheryl graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1965. She married John Carl Giberson on December 10, 1966 at the home of her parents. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 29, 1970.
She enjoyed life on the farm. John and Cheryl moved to a small acreage close to her parents farm in 1974. Where she lived up until her death. She enjoyed traveling out west to see family in Wyoming and Utah. She especially enjoyed all her time spent with her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, John, of rural Mount Pleasant, five children: Tonya Wegner, of Marion, IA, Danita Maddy (Luke), of Fairfield, IA, Brent Giberson (Becky), of Muscatine, IA, Mindy Dehl (Jacob), of Fairfield, IA and Jason Giberson (Carrie), of Washington, IA; her brother Steven Stark (Darlene) of Harrisonville, MO; two sister-in-laws Karen Ham, of Mount Pleasant, IA and Phyllis Stark, of St. George, UT. a brother-in-law Geno Reeder, of rural Lockridge, IA; and nine grandchildren Bailey, Clay, Hannah, Carter, Maya, Jacob, Curtis, Kenzie and Elin .
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Larry Stark and Dennis Stark and a sister, Kandi Reeder.
