She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Milton and Irene Pearl Vaughn (Griest). She is survived by: her brother Darrell (Cheryl Vaughn) of Mt. Pleasant; her sisters-in-law, Delores Vaughn, Anna Vaughn and Karen Vaughn; and her siblings, Roberta Vaughn, Romona Simmons, Jean Duncan, Richard Vaughn, Shirley McDowell, Patricia Palmer, Harold Vaughn, George Vaughn and Robert Vaughn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kimzey Funeral Home (213 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
