Richards of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Richards and Mable Richards (Ross); his siblings, Jim Teel and Betty McMillian; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Richards.

He is survived by : his wife Cecelia Hogan; his children, Barbara Brown (Randy) of Mount Union, David Richards (Cathy Sanders) of Montrose and Mark Richards of Danville; and his grandchildren, Mitch Brown (Julie), Sarah Edwards, Kevin Brown (Kelsey), David Richards, Mary Richards, Curtis Richards (Mary), Trent Richards and Miranda Richards. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
