It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn C. Van Pelt of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen C. Pelt and Elsielee Helmick Van Pelt; and his siblings, Debbie Kenel and Ricky Van Pelt. He is survived by: his daughter Glenda Benner of Argyle; his grandson Dillon Benner (Cheyenne); his great grandchildren, Riley, Coy, Rhett, Hunter and Dalton Benner (Miranda); his close friend Jeff Leonhard; Sawyer, Stetson Benner, Jodi Van Pelt of Mount Pleasant, Wyatt Wilson (Cassi), Jaycub, Wren Wilson, Abby Kisling (Colton), Gigi and Sandy Gathers of Ft. Madison, IA.
