It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Audrey Jones of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lester Roy and June Emma Schmidt (Fitch); her children, Tony Wagenknecht (Kim) of Mt. Pleasant and Jennifer Kimbrough of Pleasant Hill; her grandchildren, Justine, Ethan, Addison, Emma and Breleigh; her stepgrandchildren, Brooklyn, Darrick and Griffin; her great grandchild Lennox; and her brother Steven Schmidt.
