She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Faye and Frances Myrtle Elder (Whately); her husband Ron; and her siblings, Pam Morrison and Larry Dean Elder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Plimmer of Johnston, Julie Sunde (Evan) of Ankeny and Christy Fye of Johnston; her grandsons, Mitch (Lindsey), Jared Plimmer, Eric and Jacob Sunde; her great grandchild Lilla; and her siblings, Janice Thornburg of New London and Bruce Elder of St. Regis, Montana..
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
